Examples of Exceptional Circumstances

Does anybody have some specific examples of exceptional circumstances that have been approved by the USCIS FOD for Direct Consulat Filing of Form I-130? For example, specific cases of medical emergencies or short term work deployment.

Yikes, Im sure you didnt mean for your post to come off as fishy but it does. Obviously you can not 'create' an exceptional medical circumstance- so Im not sure finding out what others were approved under would help. What if the above poster says they had Xyz medical condition? How will that help you unless you also have Xyz medical condition- highly unlikely. You are better off posting what your medical issue/condition IS and asking if it would qualify...

 

Generally speaking if you are living overseas and have a short notice relocation for a job in US- thats enough to qualify.

I have to agree that my reading of the thread implied fishing for a reason for exceptional circumstances, instead of figuring out how to present a circumstance that the OP already had (via asking about multiple reasons for qualification).
