For Filipinos:Who has reported marriage or did ROM at Washington DC?Can I do the ROM and then do passport renewal at the same day?

Please tell me how because I saw in the website that the processing for passport is 9 AM -3 PM only but then the processing of ROM is also 9 Am - 12 Pm but the releasing will be from 3PM-4PM.

ROM is needed in order to renew the passport. So is there anyone who was able to do ROM and then renew the passport at the same day in Washington DC?Please help

Yes, you can do it the same day if you go in person to the Embassy in Washington DC.

I will move this to the Philippine subforum for better advice.

Yes. When we went , they asked my wife if she wanted to do both at the same time. Go early, it was crowded when we were there.

If DC is anything like the LA Consulate, you will find that there might be few people doing ROMs which will make the process faster for that service.  My wife's paperwork was released before noon.   This being DC, it could be different.  Good luck
