I 134 help

I am filling out the I 134 and i am on question 26.a, I had previously applied for a visa to my ex fiance it made it al the way to NVC and i withdrew the application at the NVC and at the embassy.  Do I list my ex on this column? I never filed out an I 134 on that application. Can i just do N/A or leave blank? Ps did the multiple filer and was approved

@Djbeg I am going through the same predicament now. I had a former spouse that I filled out an I-130 and I-485 for. I don't know whether to put him down in the 26.a section. What did you end up doing?

Question 26 asks if you ever petitioned anyone in the past. "Petitioning" is different than "sponsoring".

Petitioning = sending paperwork for someone's immigration benefit. (question 26)

Sponsoring = submitting an affidavit of support for someone's visa. (question 22)

It's not necessary for you to petition and sponsor the same person (e.g. if you withdraw your petition and it never gets to the AOS part).

The key word is FILED. Not approved or completed. So has anyone ever FILED for you besides your current petitioner (in this case,  you = beneficiary). If so YES, if not NO. Most answer it NO as they have never had a case FILED for them prior to their current petitioner.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.
