Hlo friends..This i-864ez form not asking about my petitioner ie my wife proof of citizenship like pasport or US naturalization certificate..why it’s not needed?? 🤨

It IS needed....

 

From the instructions checklist page on the USCIS website for form i-864EZ:

 

Did you provide the following?

  • Proof that you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident
  • Your Internal Revenue Service (IRS) transcript or a copy of your federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year. If you provide a copy, you must include a copy of every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your return. If you believe additional returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years.
  • A typed or printed explanation, including evidence of the exemption and how you qualified for the exemption, if you were not required to file a federal income tax return under U.S. tax law for any other reason

July 21, 2017 (Day 07) -  NOA Receipt received in the mail

July 22, 2017 (Day 08) - Biometrics appointment scheduled online, letter mailed out

July 25, 2017 (Day 11) - Biometrics PDF posted online

July 28, 2017 (Day 14) - Biometrics letter received in the mail, appointment for 08/08/17

Aug 08, 2017 (Day 24) - Biometrics (fingerprinting) completed

Aug 14, 2017 (Day 30) - Online EGOV status shows "Interview Scheduled, will mail appointment letter"

Aug 16, 2017 (Day 32) - Online MYUSCIS status shows "Interview Scheduled, read the letter we mailed you..."

Aug 17, 2017 (Day 33) - Interview Appointment Letter PDF posted online---GOT AN INTERVIEW DATE!!!

Aug 21, 2017 (Day 37) - Interview Appointment Letter received in the mail, appointment for 09/27/17

Sep. 27, 2017 (Day 74) - Naturalization Interview--- read my experience here

Sep. 27, 2017 (Day 74) - Online MYUSCIS status shows "Oath Ceremony Notice mailed"

While I don't see any specific instructions to include it (at a glance of the instructions) In my mind, it is expected and should be included with your other evidence and documents.

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/16/21 Received at PO Box

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

i skimmed it quick but that sounds more right that what i saw at a glance, ;)

The petitioner's US Citizenship has already been established in a spouse visa case, and since the I-864 EZ cannot be used in any case with a joint sponsor, there is no need to provide evidence of citizenship for the petitioner at this stage.  

 

This evidence is required for joint sponsors, not petitioners.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
