i have a question my joint sponsor sent me 2016 and 2017 tax, and W-2 and affidavit of support, my question is do i need 2018 tax or just 2016 and 2017 is enough ? because 2018 will be available on 2019 jan, what do you think ? thank you for your help..

you wont be required to have 2018 until the 2019 tax deadline for it (april 15)

 

the soonest he could file would be jan/feb for 2018, depending on when his employer gives him is w2 for 2018

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

If you wait until 2018 W2's are available, you will just be delaying your case for no reason. File it with what you have, and then just bring the 2018 taxes to the interview so that they have the most up-to-date information.

Visa Issued: 21-February-2017     Visa issued same day as interview
DHL tracking information received: 22-February-2017     DHL tracking number appeared 28 hours after interview, scheduled for delivery the next day
Visa in hand: 23-Feb-2017
US POE (Minneapolis): 26-Feb-2017

Yes I agree with you I will upload what I have if interview come same time with tax 2018 I would take it with me if my interview sooner I will take what I have to interview thank you.
