I-134 Strange Employment Situation

Hi all,

 

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help with one of the issues on I-134. I am technically employed by a company but I usually only work a total of around 16 hours per month with them. My primary income comes from my self-employment/contracting full time job.  On part 3 of the I-134 it asks for my employer name etc. I am wondering if I need to include my "employer" or if I should just leave that blank and give them my self employment information.  Anyone ever have this situation, what do you think?

04/09/2019    NOA1 received/check cashed i 485 and 130 (direct adjustment)

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

Any reason you don't want to list the part time employment...? It won't hurt your case.

You can list self employment first then the part time employment via an attachment.

 

Current annual income would be line 22 from your 2017 tax return + current paystub * # weeks worked in a year (i.e. 52 if paid weekly and work every week).

Evidence of income would be your tax returns for the self-employment + paystubs & an employment letter for the part time employment.
