What to schedule first? Medical or Interview

In the UK there's contradicting information.

 

The UK Embassy website says:

After you have attended your medical examination, you should then schedule your visa interview through the Visa Appointment Service website at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv and follow these instructions:

The medical website says to bring:

Quote

Appointment letter from the United States Embassy

Unless I am totally missing the point, this doesn't make much sense to me and they seem to contradict.

 

So what do I schedule first? To I make an appointment on the website given by the Embassy first, and then schedule my medical? Or do I attend my medical without an appointment with the embassy?

OR

 

Do I make an appointment with the Medical Physician, and then once I have a date, make an appointment with the embassy, and then take that confirmation to the medical exam?

 

Anyone who can clear this up?

Make your interview appointment then print a screenshot to bring to medical. For concrete answers to your Embassy process why not use the link I provided to you earlier for the UK sub forum where there is only UK experts.

You can schedule either first; but the medical must be completed first. For us, the NVC case letter notice  was needed, but as above, perhaps having a copy of the interview scheduling could be helpful also.

Spouse visas process  at NVC first and do get an appointment letter first, then need to get a medical appointment.  Another example of K1 not quite fitting generic instructions.  

 

The medical people just want to see your LND number in writing so--- the email from NVC, or instruction letter from London saying "we have your K1 file", or a printout of CEAC status with LND number.  All work for the clinic in London.
