Hi to all VJ'ers,

I applied my N-400 online, I'm not sure if there are some information here but I just want to share my inputs based on my Experience.

You are free to share yours and enlighten/help our fellow applicants.

I will be sharing some files but most of the "CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATIONS'' like Name, Address, Alien Number, Receipt Number were erased.

Cheers,

Disclaimer:  If I offend or you think I'm giving wrong informations, please let me know so that it can be corrected. My only purpose is just to share my personal experience.

*************************************************************************************************************************************************

My field office is Seattle, Washington and filing under 3 year rule - married to US Citizen by Birth and I have been a lawful permanent resident (my Resident since date: 12/30/2015).

DAY 01    Submission of my N-400 application online, scanned all the supporting documents before I started the application.

  • Here's a screenshot of what I received in my email few hours or minutes after submitting the application.

DAY 04  I received NOA1 same as below on October 05 and an email

NOA1

EMAIL -  It took me a while to figured it out how to check the "DOCUMENTS" online :)

DAY 05  Received email  (October 06) and  I received it 3:00am PST! My bad I saw it and I need to get up and check my e-mail at 3am! hahahaha

It only notify me that the Biometric Notice was sent by mail.

DAY 09 Check my online account and my Biotmetrics Notification is attached and I printed it (October 10)

DAY 11 Biometrics (fingerprinting) completed - Walk-in no problem; saved 2 weeks (October 12)

image.thumb.png.5a8f6de21baee528770a5f499dc6ee1a.png

AS OF OCTOBER  12, 2018

I have no updates, before I had my Fingerprints or Biometrics my Completion time was 14 months and it changes to 12 months.

So I don't know if there's any difference or advantage doing walk in.. hahaha

And since my Field Office is SEATTLE - I'm not expecting a lot about how long or short will I get some notification about my Interview.

PATIENCE is really needed at this time....

Cheers,

Count yourself lucky, I waited since April to hear news about my citizenship interview and as it stands, my process should end around July 2019.

Waiting for Citizenship Interview Appointment is really frustrating.  However, it is just a waste of energy worrying about something we cannot control.

There’s this saying that I really like “High expectations leads to disappointments”. That’s why I don’t expect too much and I don’t bother thinking about it.  I know mine will take a year....🤗

cheers!
