B1/B2 visa approved but under Adminitrative Processing

My parents had their visa interview in the philippines on 10-16 and the consul said that they are approved, took their passport and was told that passport will be deliver within 5 days, i checked their visa status today and its under ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING and it was last updated on 10-16 which is their interview day.

 

Consul didnt ask for any pending requirements needed when they left.. Im just wondering if anyone had experience the same thing and if this a normal thing?

It’ll show that status until it’s issued. Totally normal. It’s only been one day since interview and they told them 5...

 Congrats to your parents! 😊 

My interview date was the same 10-16. Appointment time 6:40, I got apporved too was advised 5-10 business days. 

 

My CEAC status changed 

AP - 10-16

READY - 10-18 7AM

ISSUED -10-18 1PM

 

I'm located in Manila though. maybe it varies if the delivery address is outside Manila. If they were advised that their applications were approved then it should be good. Patience and Faith.

it's in AP if being investigated or actually produced, totally normal

My dad & sister got interviewed in Manila on 10/17 and got their visas at 2Go 10/19.
