Waiting for I to be approved, anything I need

Timeline

While I wait for the I-130 to be approved what should I be doing now? Is their anything I could be preparing for besides I-864? If you have any info or suggestions please let me know so I can be fully prepared.. thanks

Nothing much... Patience is what we all need. I applied i130 on September 2017, and just recently received an interview date. So, hang in there and good luck!

And even I-864 is too early as your financial situation may change - also, you probably need 2018 tax year transcript for the 2019 interview (I assume you recently filed yours).

Hey if you are the beneficiary at this point there is nothing to do until you get to NVC and you are sent a copy of your packet 4 however if you are the petitioner, you will have to be at alert check you mail box regularly and respond appropriately make effort to give all necessary information USCIS might ask or NVC so the whole process is not delayed. Good luck

The I-130 asks for last 3 years of Tax transcript , get it, but having 5 looks good

 

over phone or online you can only get recent three years. to get older you may have to mail in or fax a request.
