i haven't been around lately... how's everyone?

Hello Neenuh. It has been relatively slow for April filers until this week. A couple RFEs, a few touches, and a couple approvals in the last couple of weeks. But this week CSC seems to be approving K3s.

How is life on the IR1/CR1 thread?

This morning I decided there was no sense in checking CRIS everyday since there are no touches. I would just wait for the email. When I opened up my email there was four mails from Chris. It seems both Meryll's applications where approved yesterday.:jest::D:thumbs:

And there were no touches on CRIS until today.

I hope the rest of my friends here on VJ will get there approvals this week too.

Thank you , Edp333 and Congrat`s!

Congratulations edp333 and JamesandRachel, l wish you good luck with the rest of the journey.

soon you will be with your spouses.

l really haven´t been too active lately at posting.

l am very sad, l haven´t been approved yet, we passed the 216 days from filling.

My husband called USCIS yesterday and they said that our case has being reviewed and it is in someones´desk. and because we passed the current time they will be sending a form to expedite the process.

My husband asked if she could send and email to the officers to take a look over our case and she said that they are not able to email the officers who are reviewing the paperworks.

has anyone know about this expedite process, anybody has experience this before.

lam under too much stress with this, l want to know when this will be over, any advice on this.

please help.

They said they will send the form by mail.

Thanks.

I was approved last Tuesday for the I130, and received the letter in the mail on Friday. The case for the I129f still says pending and they touched it last on Friday. I just called CSC and they say there is an RFE that they mailed to me two days ago, yet nothing changed online or no email, hmmmmmmmm. The excitement of the I130 only lasted a few hours as I wonder where the I129f approval is.

I would suggest your husband send a letter with a copy of both NOA1 notices to his Senator and Congressmen as soon as possible. It may take 30 days for them to receive a reply, but someone will look into your petitions quickly if a Sentator or Representative sends an inquiry. Other than this action, you have very little control over what USCIS does.

Congratulations to all who got approved.

I called about a week ago. Lady told me that I will get an email explaining why there is a delay. I got an email from cris saying

Type of service requested:

-- Return of Original Document

For the return of the original documents, you will need to file Form G-884......

I called them back and lady told me to just ignore that email.

My case got touched the day I got that email. (10/22) and then again on (10/23). No touches after that. Is that normal?

May be I should not have called? New lady told me 180 days is from noa1 date. so, I will have to wait.

Faith11,

We are in the same boat. We are 20 days overdue or so and the people at the help line don't offer any real help. I wrote to the congressional aide again today. I wrote my congressmen and senator and I got a touch after each time they contacted USCIS, but no approval and no RFE's. CSC is an sorry excuse for a processing center. If anybody has a real number to call CSC I would love it, as the people at the information line can't transfer or provide a number. Congress should mandate that 2 months max to go through these hurdles. I am sick and tired as you may be, but there is no other way. Keep the faith,

Banfield
