@uma100, I recommend picking ONE thread you started, and sticking with it, and requesting the others to be closed/archived. This way, other people with similar concerns need not bounce around looking for solutions, and your questions might actually get answered more quickly.

Exactly so.  Three similar-themed threads have been merged, and another without answers has been removed from a different forum.  Please use this thread only for further questions; do not start any new threads on this topic; do not keep asking the same questions in hopes of getting different answers.

In addition, anyone who notices multiple threads on the same topic (anywhere) should please report one, and include the links to the others.  Otherwise, the Moderators will merely stumble onto the situation by chance.  Thanks!

As noted, you spent ~12 months abroad over an 18 month period....not just a 5 month 25 day trip.

You can show a notarized letter from the landlord and US tax returns to try to show ties.

Also, maintaining utility bills and bank accounts (if any were in your name) would help show ties as well.

Do you have proof of residence (anything with your name AND address listed, as long as it's not an a solicitation ad) or even bank statements? Money is always a good reason to show ties.

Yes, I have the address in bank statements and credit card statements, phone bills and  my bank accounts are active and phone as well.

Also my drivers license holds same address

Get copies of your bank statements, in your case, possibly for the past 5 years. Subscription service invoices as well, like ipsy or lootcrate, or even Netflix or Hulu that has your name and your address on them. Anything you think would suffice as proof of your ties to the United States.
