I submitted an i-130 petition to USCIS for my wife mid April. Perhaps unfortunately, the forms I submitted, and many of the supporting documentation,  were double sided. I've seen many recommendations for submitting everything single sided, but I have yet to read of a RFE or rejection due to this issue.

Can anyone provide insight? Any specific examples, or form instructions, that I may have missed?

Thanks!

Single sided is not required by USCIS. It is just a recommendation by other users. You are fine.

Doesnt mention only single sided. We just tend to recommend it so that important documents arent missed.

And so the reader does not need to stand on their head to read the back side.  These files are built to government standard after receipt, meaning they are two-hole punched at the top and secured to the top of a folder.  Difficult to read the back sides of pages.  They will deal with it.  Don't add to the problem by submitting two-sided documents to NVC.

No worries - All documents are scanned in and believe it or not they can scan 2sided pages quite easily.👍

Yea, I have full duplex printing/scanning at work too. One would think this is pretty much the norm now.😄

I guess I'll just have to wait and see if anything gets bounced back. I created a duplicate copy of everything and I can't count the number of times I've checked it to make sure I included/signed everything in my packet.

I'm pretty stressed about the whole process, especially the fact that we could get all the way to the interview only to be denied....

Anyway, I'm headed down to CR to see my wife in next Friday. Should take my mind off the process for at least a week or so.

It won't get bounced back.  Although they do scan the documents, that does not mean the USCIS staff will be dealing with those scans instead of paper.
