Hello Everyone!! I filled my i360 in June 2017 and asked me for good moral character in July they received in August 2017 .i m still waiting nothing yet.my lawyer told me to wait until I get approve to sent the i485 .my husband is USC .

They are currently working on May/June 2017, so you should hear soon hopefully. There are still people from January/February 2017 though that haven’t heard yet.

Did your attorney explain why he wanted to wait to file I-485? Does he not believe your case is strong?

Thank you! I won’t know until my attorney receives the interview notice. Seems like it’s always 2-4 weeks after they send the notice though, so should be some time in October. I will keep everyone updated!

Hello everyone , I have attorney help me submit my case I-360, but he is not very pay attention and not very professional.

He make many mistakes for my case ,I am upset about that .

I would like to by meself submit renew EAD ,can I do that by myself ?

If you have an attorney, don’t do anything behind their back. End their representation first and then file forms on your own. Don’t file forms on your own while you are still under their representation.

Wow congrats, im happy for you  😃🤗🤗 and  thank you!!! I got an RFE on august 24 regarding my name and i sent my response on the following days. On september 5, I got an update with my name change (it was because they misspelled my second name, and they corrected that mistake) and on september 6 they sent me an update that they received my RFE. Now on september 17 which was two days ago, they sent me another update about my name 😂. I guess they wanted to put my other last name (they didnt put my other last name, although i sent a copy of my passport, i guess they corrected that mistake) 😂🤗 i have receive so many updates yet not anything about the card. I was thinking my case would take another month 🤔 but hanks to your case, I feel anxious!!!! Omg ☺😆 Thanks for sharing!

Advise needed on eviction issue.

The apartment i shared with my abuser US citizen wife goes to eviction this week.
What implication will this have on my case.

I got the lease in my name with my tax ID and proof of income, since my abuser had past eviction before we met and she could not rent. So I added her to the lease.
I was not allowed to the apartment since June, when she brought her family and friends to stay. Aside othe abuse.

The constant threath of deportation or withdrawing of petition makes me to be quiet. Though i paid the rent each month. I mean i pay all the rent and bills. She abandoned the petiton and that is the reason I filed VAWA. The lease expired last month and i went to discuss my situation with the lease manager that I will not renew the lease. As i cannot continue with the burden of paying rent, since i am not allowed to live there and the marriage has become something else.

The Lease Manager said my abuser has to sign the form that the lease will not be renew. She didnt sign. And i told the Leasing Manager that I will not encourage her by paying the September rent, rather i prefer it goes to eviction. Sp she can leave.
And when my abuser leave the apartment i will pay whatever is on my record. Not before she leave. Will the eviction have any effect on me or my petiton? Will it be on my record since I dont have social at the time of leasing the apartment. I used my tax ID.
Kindly advise.

Hi I have questions!

Here is my background of filing.

I filed 360 in sept 2017

got RFE on GMC so sent documents and they received it nov 2017.

Also filed for 485, 765 later in oct 2017.

So my attorney and I sent 765 renewal and on check status it says “fingerprint review is completed.” But I am concerned that my attorney sent it to national center instead of vermont.

Question 1. Is it ok to send it there instead of vermont?

And I also wanted to file for AP this time, so we filled up a form for it and I signed. My attorney said she sent it to different local center not along with 765 renewal.

And Last time I visited her office, I was able to get Receipt of notice for 765 renewal but not for AP.

She said it takes more time which makes me doubt for her not filing from the beginning. Because she did not want me to leave US and travel with AP.

Question 2. I want to have faith in my attorney. Lets say she filed. Is it ok to file AP to different location not with 765?

And if it doesn’t print on my new EAD card “valid for re-entry”

do they send it separately?

And recently

I changed my address of 360 by sending a letter to vermont.

But I have not received any notice that it has been changed.

Question.3 i sent the letter and a form in august 2018. Still no update. is it changed? Or do they usually give notice?

From looking at shared stories in this forum, I am expecting my 360 approval probably somewhere in april or may 2019.

And if my case gets approved,

they will probably send the approval letter and then

question4. what happens next till interview notice?

approved and wait for few more months, then i will be receiving another letter for interview date?
