Looks like you submitted recently. There's no way to know. It can be just a few months to even a year or more.

I filed August 2017 and I JUST called them to ask if I'm still in line. The lady said yes and currently they're working on August 2016 cases. It could be a while. I hope not, though.

We are in the San Fernando Valley, Chatsworth USCIS office. We filed on May 30 2017.  Our case took all together around 11 months, June 9th 2018 went to the interview. Our case "was ready to be scheduled for interview" from November 2017. So I have to say it took around 7 month to get the interview.

Los Angeles can take between 11 to 25 months from the date you filed to the interview.

Dang, I'm jealous! My field office is Los Angeles (the city, not the county). We filed 11 months ago but our case has only been in line for an interview for 3.5 months now. I was so hoping that we were gonna be done with this by now. Los Angeles office is pretty busy though. The city alone has a bigger population than some entire states.

I think you are into the category 11-24 months range. More likely you will have interview scheduled   soon. I don't really buy that 24 months wait in Los Angeles, that is just an estimate at its worst. Los Angeles county offices are pretty productive, they also book interviews on Saturdays which was the case with us.

Hoping ours is the same timeframe! PD Sep 15 2017 at San Fernando. Did you ever file EAD renewal? And did your online status ever change from biometrics fee received for I-485? 😊

ETA: sorry just saw your status did change! When did you receive your interview notice in the mail? Thank you so much and congrats!

Thank you. Ours was in DTLA. Yes it changed to interview scheduled. We received “interview was scheduled” online 5 weeks before interview. Got mail with interview date one week later.

Fingers crossed for you. Happy to answer any question.

Thank you. Yes it was a long wait. Hard when you compare to other offices which for the most part are quicker than LA.

Timeline

Filed 4/2/2018

RFE 4/23/2018

Ready to schedule interview 5/21/2018

Expedited EAD and approved 6/25/2018

Now comes the endless waiting since I'm probably in Los Angeles County office instead of LA office or San Bernardino office.

I'm already looking at how to renew combo card lol
