Working with UK client while in the US (split)

This is concerning, when I move to Georgia to be with my wife I plan to visit the U.K. (short stays) a few times a year to work for my main client as I work freelance.

 

Have you heard anything that would suggest this is a problem? I’ll be actively seeking a US replacement for that client but it won’t be immediate.

I can only tell you based off of what happened to my aunt. Each person's experience is different.

You plan to work more than 6 months a time in the UK? Your taxes will be super duper complicated.
