Thanks.  Yes, because my application was made online, the soft copy of the official interview letter was uploaded to my account early last week.  I expect to get the hard copy in the mail probably tomorrow or Tuesday.  I'm a little worried about the interview though because I have a pending ROC and the letter doesn't mention anything about it.  A couple of weeks ago, someone on this forum said they had their interview at San Jose de-scheduled because the office didn't have qualified staff to conduct combo interviews.  On hindsight, I wish I committed that person's name to memory so I could find out whether they got another date and interviewed.

Congratulations on the interview date. It will be great if we can get hold of that person who de scheduled his her appointment. It will be an additional data point in our table and great help for others with ROC pending.

Oh no! I hope that is not the case, I have a pending ROC as well!

We should definitely try to find this individual.

Also, as far as the letter itself goes, I don't think other people with pending ROCs had this mentioned in their N400 interview letters. You just need to prepare accordingly for both and take your USC spouse with you.

This morning I had a 8.15 appointment at San Jose field office for getting a I-551 stamp, I was in and out within 35 minutes. Not sure if it was just low traffic due to early morning hours or if USCIS has gotten it's act together but I was pleasantly surprised by the quick turnaround. Last year same process had cost me 2 hours in Seattle field office.

Oh nice! I was there for my stamp in early June and was there for well over an hour.

I wonder when you'll get your interview letter though. I feel like based on Teshah's timeline, you should be hearing from them soon.

psychedelicx has not gotten his interview letter yet so I am not sure if mine is anytime soon.

It seems to me that since late last year N-400 interview pace has become dramatically slower in almost every field office, USCIS's sole focus seems to be illegal immigrants and blocking immigration in one way or another. :D

Are you sure they haven't gotten it yet? I want to assume that they just haven't been on this site and updated their timeline and data here in a long time.

But yes I do agree that the pace has dramatically slowed down. Based on when people (from San Jose) in Oct/Nov were hearing back from USCIS, it was taking around a month or so less back then than it is now.
