Hi,

I am august 2018 filer and got a letter yesterday with an interview time scheduled in my local office. I did not revived any RFE and I sent many deviance. Has anyone been in this situation? Also it didn't even change on the website, it still shows fingerprint revived. I'm kinda freaking out as if why this is happening. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Wife's I-751 approved the same day as N-400, 11/5. Approval notice says that green card will not be issued, since she was invited to the Oath ceremony.

congratulations! Was she invited to oath ceremony on same day of interview? Can you please give us a break down of the entire steps leading to approval of 1751 and N400? Thanks

Approval letter showed up online 2 days after the interview. The oath ceremony is in December (for no good reason whatsoever).

ROC and Naturalization steps are in my signature. What information are you looking for?

So I’m at the same process. Filed N400 while i751 is pending. My N400 estimated wait time now shows 3 days left. I’m  wondering how much longer it would take to get an interview date. Plus my i751 still shows transferred to another jurisdiction since September  30th.

There's no way to tell when the interview will be scheduled. As for i751, you should have received a notice it was transferred to NBC. That means it's being prepared for an interview.

On September 30 my i751 says transferred to local office, then on October 2 transferred to another jurisdiction. I don’t know if that’s NBC.

You should have received a printed notice about the transfer, but, in any case, if it went from local to "another", it's at NBC.

Just an fyi.

My wife had her I751 pending while filing for citizenship. We never received any notice about a transfer. The day of her N400 interview we still had no idea that this would be a combo interview.

I751 went to VSC, local office is Raleigh, NC.

I don't think transfer notices are always sent out when there is movement on a case.

There's no doubt that USCIS does not have a good way of handling the "combo" process for I-751 and N-400. There was no indication that there would be a combo interview, and that the spouse was expected to show up. Imagine I had a work emergency and didn't think my presence was expected by the USCIS officer (who, for no good reason, decided to interview us separately). Would the whole process be delayed?

The only reason I knew I-751 interview was happening was the notice that informed us the case went to NBC. This was also very similar to when our AOS case was processed: it was sent to NBC for the interview preparation.

Filed: Timeline

So I gave up on ever getting a status update on our I-751 case.  16 months since filed and 9 months since biometrics completed.  I decided to file the N-400 and at least we are seeing some immediate movement.  Filed online Nov 2, got immediate NOA on Nov 2, and notification of biometrics scheduled notification on Nov 9th, appointment document available to see online on Nov 13, with an appointment date of Nov 25th.

Still no change or notification of any kind on my I-751.

Hopefully all will be merged.

I too have had zero updates on my I-751. Filed early July 2018, biometrics in March 2019. My case doesn’t update online. I called last month and they said my case number is too similar to another, so they won’t update online (?????). Just endlessly waiting and going crazy.

Well if you're eligible, file your N400.
