There are Direct flights from the Dubai to many US Airports.

Then they need to obtain the appropriate US Visa.

You can't just ' go' to a country. You have to have the appropriate visa or passport. If you have that, you can take whatever route you want to the US. If you are hoping to go to another country, work there for a bit and then apply for a visa, I think it would be even MORE heavily scrutinized, but that is just a hunch. And you're not even thinking about the interview, which would have to be done at the consulate in Nigeria, I believe.

Thanks Debbiedoo, we are trying everything we can to get my fiance to the U.S. I have discussed everything with him even  the interviews.  But, he is thinking once he gets to Dubai and work his way here he will get a Visa to the U.S. I'm sure from Dubai it won't be easy getting here
