CRBA newborn

Hi guys!

 

currently undergoing fiancée visa process and wondering if anyone is or has gone through the same as us;

 

we filed while i was pregnant and i had our baby in AUS, obviously we are planning to move to the US once i receive my visa but i’m curious if i will have to include our NB son in my continuation of applications or if he will be irrelevant once we complete his CRBA?

my mom heard from a grapevine that i would have to file for a visa for him too even through he is my fiancées biological son and that the CRBA and US passport wouldn’t be enough- if this is the case, i’d like to know so i can go and cry before i start that process...

let me know your experiences if you have them.

Who is the USC? As long as the crba can be filed you dont need a Visa for your child.

A US citizen cannot be issued a US visa. The CRBA + US passport is all they need there.

I had my twins b4 we apply for k1 and came to US when they were 11months old. Didnt have any problems!

As long as u have crba and the passport u don’t need a visa for ur child .

just curious at the CRBA interview, did you need USC original physical passport or was a copy okay?

All I had was a copy.
