Need some help with this.

What do I put for my current annual income? Individual Income reported on 2017 taxes OR  projected income on my current 2018 pay stubs.

I am a salaried employee. I have a pretty steady income and I have been employeed with my current company for almost 12 years. I get a raise every year in August, so my income this year will be slightly higher than the last year, but nothing significant. For sponsorship purposes, my income is 3x time more than  125% of poverty line, so it shouldn't matter either way.

Thanks in advance.

It is not important.  Simply annualize what your current rate is

YMMV

OK. Is it Gross Income?  If yes, I can take the paystub for 03/31 (my quarterly income) and multiply YTD income by 4 to get my yearly gross income.

However, I know "Reported W-2 Wages" are used for IRS taxes and that's less than gross income, because it deducts retirement funds, FSA, etc. from Gross Pay.

Also I am going to send them pay stubs for this year. Everything for 2017 is included in my 2017 taxes and W2.

Current income : your pay rate X 40 X 52. Back it up with pay stub+employment letter.

This. For anyone searching this and come across this thread. I sent them exactly this and NVC didn't have any issues.

Or, one pay stub's gross times the number of pay stubs in a year.  Possibly the same number  Don't confuse tax returns with current income.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
