¡Hola chicos!

Wooow omg I'm very happy for both, yesterday and today I was praying for you!!! Everything is over, many blessings in your new life together, and happy trip!! :jest::D

Thanks for telling me your experience, my interview is in 6 days, so on Saturday I will travel to Santo Domingo to assist with my wife to her interview, we're excited!!!

Hi guys! My husband’s visa was APPROVED!!!

Our interview was scheduled for 10. We got there around 9:30, and we were inside by 9:50. Once we got in we received a number and had to wait in line for someone to call us up. This was not the interview portion. The gentleman took my husbands passport, his original birth certificate, original police certificate and our original marriage certificate. The gentleman didn’t ask for English translation or copies of either document. I assume this is because we had already provided all of that information with the info we sent to NVC.

Once we were done with that we were seated and waited until our number appeared on a monitor. The monitor shows your number when it is your turn and it lets you know which station to stand before to be interviewed.

We were called up around 12pm and had to take an oath that everything we answered in our paperwork and the answers we would provide today are true. Then, our immigration officer asked:

1. How did we meet (to me)

2. What are our plans once my husband gets to the States (to him)

3. Did he speak English before we me (to him... because I don’t speak Spanish, I am sure she was really trying to figure out how we communicated).

4. How did my kids feel about my marriage , have they met my husband, and we’re they nervous about the interview (to me)

Then, congratulations sir, your visa is approved!

Felicidades dios los bendiga  🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 My interview is tomorrow 🙏🏻

Does anyone know how long the visa will be in Administrative processing?

It depends on how long it takes the Consulate of your Country to process. For Nigeria, it's 3-4 business days.

Hey dudes and dudettes,

Once the interview is schedule and case sent to the embassy, should we be expecting another email from the embassy about the interview process? Or nothing else until interview time?

Thanks!

The email you should be expecting is the interview letter (P4) that also contains links to the document and interview process. After that, nothing else until interview time.

You can check how your case is been transferred to the Consulate through CAEC website. It goes from "AT NVC" to "In Transit" then to "Ready"

Apparently they are still scheduling for some of the Embassy's. Depends on the availability from your country's Embassy. CC was March 17th and we received the CC letter March 26th.

Goodluck :)
