Are the processing times the same for every type of application? Employment based vs Spouse based or 3-year vs 5-year applicants?

Also, are they still sending applications to Yakima for Seattle/eastside applicants? IF yes, do they get processed any faster?

Not seen anyone sent to Yakima or Portland for a year or so.

Processing times are the same, regardless of eligibility.

Here is some stats guys, it's not very promising. These stats are for Seattle office.

Backlog is getting higher 21,688. More applications were received overtime, which explain why it's slowing more and more with the fact that they are processing way less cases at about 25% capacity April - June 2020 compared to January - March 2020.

I applied jan-march 2020, which have increased volume of applications 5k in the quarter before mine, compared to 4628 the one before and 4315 the one before.

We have way long to wait. All what I can say is stay patient. We have nothing to do in our hands.

My estimated completion date (which was January 2021) has disappeared. I’m expecting to have my interview in March, based on the current timelines from those a month or two ahead of me.

April to June 2020 is not a great quarter to predict processing speed for future because for the majority of period, USCIS offices were closed due to COVID. USCIS started again in early June so it will be important to see processing speed for July to Sept 2020 quarter. That will tell some better story.

True, assuming they are running at faster speed, I do not expect them they are at the same speed before COVID. The July, Sept report should have been out by now, but even these reports at 2 months delay.

Excellent news! Congratulations. And you are a September 2019 filer. I think you are the first September 2019 filer to get an interview apart from the random ones that seemed to bypass others.

Wow, pending cases now are 27k and new applications July - Sept is 6,593. That is crazy. they are processing say 2k this last quarter, while received cases Oct-Dec, 2019 and Jan-March 2020 was at 5K each quarter, so for each quarter they are processing 2k which is 40% rate. So assuming they did not even hit October yet, and they are processing Sept, someone like me a January applicant have at least 10k ahead. So critical math say I need 5 quarters to hit my case. See you guys next year, lol.
