I just wanted to announce... that after the longest week and a half of our entire lives waiting for the consulate to make their decision.......

WE WERE FINALLY APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will have his visa NEXT WEEK!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! PARTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance:

I Can finally relax and BREATHE again! What an awesome feeling! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are waiting on our interview. Some days it feels like it is taking forever and other days I feel like the time is just whizzing by.

But, once we have that interview, I am going to find this thread and update it, no matter how many pages I have to dig thru

I see you interview date is coming up ssoooooon, don't worry February will go by in a flash. Have you seen Mirla Or Byron? With the wedding plans and everything else I'm not on as much. Mirla should have gotten an interview date already, right??

Guess I need to start looking at the AOS thread..never even thought to look for one since I'm usually on here while working and just look around and post when I get a break or it's slow

Mirla has her interview today. Hopefully she will come and update us when she is done.

I haven't seen Byron in a long time. I think he probably sticks to the Colombia club threads and he's probably busy with Leidy and Daniel and AOS stuff.

I cannot wait until March 18....then it is wedding planning

Does anyone know what happens if you are not at home when they try to deliver the visa? My fiance works all day and most likely will not be there when they deliver it. I just don't want a major delay on things because he won't be there during the times they try to deliver it. Anyone know? Thank you!

That depends on which delivery company or mail service the embassy uses. They should've said at the interview approx. how long it would take and if he'd get it by mail or courier. Try contacting the embassy and let them know the situation and maybe they can help.

Hi there! They said it would take around 11 days and I do not know if they said if it would be by courier or by mail. It is hard to contact the embassy because their phone hours are 1-3 PM Mon thru Thurs which is 4-6 AM MY time. I'd have to get up in the middle of the night to call. Oh well, its just me finding a way to worry again, most likely needlessly, but I guess I won't be 100% satisfied until he HAS that visa IN his hands. Thanks!!
