Hi Jlogajan: It appears you got your interview pretty quick after the embassy received your documents. We are still hoping for a Feb. interview. I'm so happy for you-----anything else you can share I would love to hear about the interview. The patient one, Alane & Ramzis :innocent::innocent:

Yes, after all that USCIS and NVC waiting suddenly we had to scramble to get documents for the interview. She never did receive the packet sent from the embassy, and we were waiting on it to see if it requested anything special from me. After deciding we were running out of time I sent documents based on the embassy website list and the Fedex delivery date was going to be SIX days after she had to leave to go to Moscow. Fortunately the Fedex documents arrived two days before she left. Whew. In the mean time I emailed her scans of everything I had and she printed them out -- that was our back-up plan.

The only way I knew her interview date was by looking at the US embassy website schedule. We would have been totally out of luck if we waited for any mailed notification of the interview date.

She's only sent me that one sentence description of the interview before she hopped the train for a 34 trip back home. She's just gotten home today after two weeks in Moscow.

Wow, congratulations to ALL the May K1 applicants who are almost done or who are done! Thats amazing!

I am happy for all of you and sad at the same time if that makes sense. It gives me hope and also frustrates me.

I see so many almost finished with the process that applied in May but yet we are still stuck at the NVC in administrative processing with no estimated time on when our papers will be sent. I guess I am very envious of all of you who have gone through this process without delay and all we have experienced so far is delays. It makes me feel, WHY US? What did we do so differently that I have to be kept from my love for so long? I know from reading this site that we are not the only ones that are having delays that we cannot control, but it does not make the frustration I feel any better. I never knew this process was going to be so trying.

I wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year, and I hope the new year brings us all wonderful things... (like the NVC finally sending our file!) Best wishes to you all!

Well, considering the waiting that we've all been through and are still going through, as well as the trials and tribulations of dealing with either CSC or VSC, next year will be the best for all of us! Congratulations to all who have received their visa's! And to the rest of us still waiting, may the New Year bring us speedy interview dates and visa's soon to follow!!! :thumbs:

YAY I called the NVC today and our papers were sent to the consulate in Sweden on the 28th!!!!!!!! The consulate does not have the papers yet, but they FINALLY after 6 weeks got SENT! YAY! Great news to end the year!

JenK...I hope your application is released by the NVC center soon....I know how frustrated you must be....our application still has not been adjudicated...so we are with you on the high level of frustration!!!!!!!!!

May 5-sent I129f to Texas and they forwarded to CSC

May 11-priority date according to NOA1 on Hard Copy

May 14-received by CSC...notice sent (never received)

May 15-money order cashed

July 19-called about Hard copy..said they would resend

July 23-lawyer calls and is told application is lost and to resend application

July 25-sent a duplicate application to Texas and it is forwarded to VSC

July 27-called again...said they would resend from CSC

July 31/aug.3/aug.6 "touches"

Aug. 16 received the NOA1 from VSC for duplicate application

Aug. 16-called about Hard Copy...said that they would resend (3rd time) from CSC

Aug. 17-"touch"

Aug. 19-FINALLY RECEIVED THE NOA1 HARD COPY for original application from CSC

October-19-CRIS sent message that they were moving our application to VSC?!?!?

(seems USCIS sent our first application to the wrong center)

November-16 origianl is at the VSC
