Terminal fees?

My fiancee and her Aunt will be travelling to Manila on April 2nd, returning on April 6th.

So that's two people flying Cebu to MNL, and two people returning MNL to Cebu.

Are terminal fees included in the tickets nowadays or are they extra, I want to make sure my fiancee has enough peso.

Also, how much more does it cost for a taxi for two from MNL to near the Embassy?  Is it 2x the fare for one?

Thanks

I have read the terminal fee for domestic travel is included with all airfare from Mactan or NAIA.

As for Taxis the fair should not change because there are two people (unless the cabby is trying to rip them off)    Yellow airport taxis charge higher fare than white taxis.

Thanks Hank, very helpful.

The cabby could rip off my fiancee....but with her Aunt there.... the cabby might get his face ripped off....

Are the yellow (higher fare taxi) worth the higher fare?  Any tips on what cab to look for and what not?  Auntie is pretty well traveled but I'm not sure that she's that familiar with MNL.

Yellow taxis are the same as airport taxis in the USA .. the only taxis allowed to pickup fares at the airport, and thus charge a higher free.

Like with all taxis .. IF they don't turn the meter on .. get out.  ;)

The auntie be travel smart she will keep things on the up and up.

I only had issues with taxis when I travel outside their normal areas, then they try not to use the meter or charge an additional fee ( I negotiate the added fee)

Mnl to cebu no terminal fee

cebu to mnl pay at the airport , i think $10 or less

Cebu still charges at the airport?     Interesting.  I had heard that before but the article I read stated different, either way the OP should be prepared.  ;)

Oh I know there is a terminal fee at all airports, but I had read that Mactan was now including the fee within the ticket price the same as NAIA and didn't need to pay it at the airport anymore.

After many years of screwing around with airport fees, it's no wonder why everyone is confused. I can't for the life of me will I ever understand what is or isn't in the Phil.  Seems once you learn one way they go and change it. :o
