Husband's appointment was super easy.  In and out in a few minutes.  It is shame he had to take the day off from work to go down there for it.

Glad thats done for you guys! Did his status change online?I read conflicting posts about status changes after biometrics.Thank you.

This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes Psalm 118:23:)

shomer, i saw it on february group and its blue color but i couldnt find that option.

btw, if u were out from country some amount of time, i heard  they count that too, so  it  delays interview date.  it was  like that on 2013.

I think someone got their wires crossed at some point because early (walk-in) fingerprints are supposed to appear in a different color.  I don't know how you'd retrieve that information now.  I see what you say about February, where they're all a different color, even though it's hard to believe that everyone walked in.

Goodluck on the biometrics! Mine is scheduled for April. I thought stamping was in Detroit office only not in the application centre but I could be wrong.

I have no idea where the stamping is done. I'm thinking it's too soon to get it done now anyway. Biometrics went well ( apart from getting lost in Michigan City !!)  April is nearly here. Hope all goes well for you too xx

Goodness! That is an year away.😞

I know :( I was really happy when the first projected date was December 2018, and then they added three months. I'm not stressing out too much as things change. It would have been great if it had been December because I could have got to see my grand children for Christmas. Since my Green Card expires in September, I most likely won't get there now.

Well, you still would have needed to get a passport, so you wouldn't have made it for Christmas.  At least now you have time to do all of that before the next Christmas afterwards.

I suppose so. It didn't take my husband long to get his passport though. Fingers crossed I'll get there next summer. I'm going this summer too for five weeks 😃

We filed N-400 online on 3/3/18 and got setup with biometric appt on 3/10/18, the appointment was yesterday 3/28/18.  USCIS says to expect completion by 3/2019 so I guess we'll see when we get an interview date.

What's the deal with these lockboxes?  Anyone know what those are?
