Hope so too! Some couples got it by email within 1-2 months, and one couple has been waiting four months 😒.  I’m just hoping for the best - I’ll give it 4-6 weeks before I start harassing the embassy.   Apparently they release interview dates in batches, and we just have to wait. As they say, TIA (this is Africa)!

If I were you I will call them as soon as my case is transferred from NVC to the embassy to get a feel how things are going workout. You might be lucky. You loose nothing trying so, give them a call.

Okay @Greenbaum thank you so much for the info. So going upon the second link you sent and something I have already asked before. Please look at the pic I’m attaching and help me clarify this. Who would be the best person to answer this? I have lived in the US for 8 years on student visa and that too in different states. Does this mean I have to get police record from US too and if yes then which state or is it FBI check? So confused.

PC's are not required for time spent in USA because during the vetting that USCIS does they check all "data bases" used for criminal activity within the USA. So you are already being checked with FBI & Dept Homeland Security records.

Hey guys, I have two questions about I134.

1. Do you put the A number that comes on your NOA2 for your fiancee in Part 2 #4? YES

2. On Part 3 "Dependent Information", do you put your fiancee? YES and all dependent children that are coming along with her or may follow.

Thanks guys for your contributions and help.

See answers in red above.

You may want to contact them by phone or email. If you go to the Embassy's website and look at the process for the K1 they have posted information for the CR-1 (married couple) and not the K1 procedures. I guess they don't check their work.

We got our case number yesterday after calling every day this week!

NOA2 was 3/21

NVC case# 4/6

I just want to double check cause from reading on here it seems like people are putting their NVC case numbers in the DS-160, but when I fill it out the side note reads:

Your application receipt/petition number was given to you by the Department of Homeland Security’s United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) after you filed your petition application at a USCIS Service Center. The application receipt/petition number is 13 characters long and the first three characters are letters.

which makes it seem to me like its the WAC they're after?

I think his case is with the Ghana embassy not the Benin embassy.

I think it doesn't apply for our cases :)

"The All Other Nonimmigrant Visa wait time DOES NOT include K or V visa applications, which are processed similar to immigrant visas.  A, G, and NATO applications are excluded from these wait times, as they are processed separately."

😂😂😂 I’m so over it!!!

Hate feeling lost 😂😂😂

Case number given at nvc starts with 3 letters and it is 13 characters long

I haven't done this, but I think it is most likely the NVC number.

You are right. "The all others ......" Does not apply to K1 which is treated like immigration VISA.

I submitted mine and I put in my WAC. I think from the phrasing it can’t really be interpreted in any other way, however I haven’t had my interview yet so we shall see.

Yes! In this case they are asking for the WAC number or at least that is what I understood. We will see later after the interview lol

I know I read and re-read the page and to me it was asking for the WAC not the NVC case number.
