This thread has been too quiet for the past days. I hope everyone is having fun waiting.  Lol

There's probably not going to be updates for a long while now, the initial speedy phase of case acceptances, biometrics, RFE's has passed for most of us. Now it's the long waiting game.

It might not be a long wait for K1 holders. I have seen filers from January thread who already got interviews scheduled for April and May. Do you guys know if the original status of AOS applicants counts? Theoretically, it makes more sense that adjusting from K1 should be easier and faster compared to other visas. Any thoughts?

But this thread isn't for K1 adjustment. So therefore, we are probably in for a long wait especially as most of us seem to be coming towards the 'ready to be scheduled for interview' stage!

I have a feeling that we will be getting interview notices around the end of June. Are you adjusting from F1 too?  What are you studying?

I received a Courtesy Letter about my I-693 today. I didn’t think I was going to receive one because I had already sent one with my application. I guess the form was outdated. I had done my physical exam back in December, but the new form came into effect in January, and being that I sent the application after January, it is no longer valid. Well, that sucks.

Had to cancel adjustment of status interview because of really bad weather in March. Anyone have any experience with not making the first adj of statues interview? How long wait till USCIS reschedule? We were supposed to go to Pittsburgh USCIS. I have heard nothing from USCIS yet.

Nobody in here will know or will have experienced that. We only filed in March. When did you actually file? It can take months to reschedule though from previous posts I've seen.

Hey! Still here and still waiting! I find it Interesting that I haven't received any update on the tracker since my biometrics almost a month ago! It still just says that they've received my case. Also no physical mail saying they received my RFIE response (not sure if they do that) so I'm just waiting... What really is the next step after sending everything out? What is the next letter that I should be looking for? I'm getting anxious. And I really want to get my EAD so I can start working!

F1 (graduated) with pending AOS after marriage! ^_^

I just received a text message from USCIS. It states that my case MSC18907**** (I-485) is updated and asking me to check "My Case Status" website. When I checked there was no update. Does anyone know what this text message was for?!!

If you signed up for notifications on your myuscis account, they will send you notifications to tell you that they haven’t done anything on your case lately, and that the lasts time your case was updated was xxx date. It might have been that.

No, that's sent every 2 weeks of inactivity, and my last update was the other (ready to schedule for interview).

Yeah, I had the exact same text message, yet when I checked there was no update. Possibly an accidental text somehow.

Received notice today that my EAD/AP card is approved and in production! I requested an expedite through my Senator's office based on financial hardship/job offer, including letters from my employer attesting to the disruption.

It took nearly a month for USCIS to acknowledge the request, but only took about 11 days to approve once they did.

How did you go about doing that? Is there any way you can DM me with how you did it? I am planning on doing that too. My EAD through DACA expires in August and I am scared that my EAD won’t get approved before that. If that happens I will lose my job and stuff.

Today, I checked my case status and it shows that they sent out my document for my I-131. I have no idea what this could be. I’m guessing it is my receipt notice since I never actually received it.
