If our case has been received to our local offices, does it mean we are going for an interview?

They weren't necessarily moved anywhere and no, you may get an approval, RFE or an interview. I know it's not very helpful but once someone actually looks into your case they will decide if they need more information from you or if you're good to go and sent all the evidence they needed.

I am November 2015 I-751 filer at Vermont Office (28 months + pending).

On February 27, 2018 our case finally appeared on both https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant and  https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/logon.do, stating " February 26, 2018 We received your case" on the first website and "Case Was Received at My Local Office on February 27, 2018" on the second website.

I checked 500 cases before and 500 cases after our case number. All visible 147 applications are pending for 28 months; all are I751Vermont Office filers from November 2015; all have just been logged in (February 25, 2018 - March 27, 2018 about 1-20 cases per day), with exactly same messages on both websites.

Submitted all of this information to our lawyers and Congressman to review and investigate.

Any November 2015 Filers there? Looking for people from those 147 pending applications. PM to join forces.

can you just simply file your n-400,  and hope that they will push them to make decision on your i-751 a little bit quicker

The Tier 1 officers are totally unreliable. A Tier 2 officer told me my case is still at CSC even though I got the transfer update. Your case is most likely still at CSC waiting to be looked at..

How do we get in touch with the Tier 2? I want to give it a try.

Just call them and ask them to put you through to Tier 2. They may or may not ask you why first... but in the end you will get there :D

Most likely they will adjudicate it together once you get your interview on your N400. Good luck!

I got my conditional green card in 2015 via my wife. Then I applied for permanent green card on Nov. 2016.  However, after the biometrics, I have not heard anything back since then, so I applied for naturalization on Nov. 2017. Here is my question, will I get a combied interview? Or I will get my green card, then I will have an interview for my naturalization?

I also checked my I 751 and N 400 online, and it shows

On February 26, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACXXXXXXX, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

As of December 22, 2017, we are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number IOEXXXXXXXXXX. Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time. We will let you know if we need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Thanks

Hey guys,

I've been reading in this forum for about 2 months now but never wrote here..

A little background, I've sent my I-751 on Janurary 2017 and received the "Case was received at local office.." like everybody on 2/25/2018.

Last month I went to my local office (Greer, SC) to get my passport stamp. The immigration officer wasn't knowledgeable at all and after being so rude he did stamp my passport but said I can't get my green card back. I asked him about the message everybody got and he just said "No, your case is still at the service center". We asked if I can go ahead and apply for citizenship and he said "sure".

So I did in the beginning of this month.

I'm just back from my biometric appointment in Greer, SC for my N-400. As soon as I walk in the security guard asked for my green card. I showed him my passport and explained the whole thing but he just said "No. I need your green card" I kept telling him I was there last month and the immigration officer didn't give it back. He then went to ask the other security guard who told him "this is her green card" pointing on the stamp in my passport.

But that wasn't all... Then in the line to the biometric machine.. the older lady asks me where is my green card, so the whole thing starts again! I was so upset at that point cuz then she said "you can't apply to citizenship while you I-751 is pending" I told her that according to their website and their own Immigration officer (!) I can, so she sain "you're walking on a thin line" and started laughing!

The other guy there took my fingerprints, picture and signature and I left... but God they made me sick!

Just wanted to share that with all of you, I will creat my timeline here later. But do you think I need to worry?...

I got my conditional GC in January 21, 2018. And then I applied for Removal of condition on 10/31/2016. Never heard about my ROC for like almost a year so on October 23rd 2017 I wend ahead and apply for my  Citizenship.

- I never get an interview for my ROC when I went to my citizenship interview but my husband went with me even though we didn't received an interview for ROC just incase we get one.

- I passed the interview but the officer did not approved me because he has to review my ROC application first. And then 6 days later after my interview I got an email and my status online updated that I was approved and they placed me in line for an Oath. 10 days later I got an update again to attend my Oath. And that was it, I am now a Proud US citizen and never heard about my ROC nor received my 10 year GC.

Good luck on your journey and I hope you will get your interview very soon.

First of I.am SO SORRY you were treated like that. They only treated you that way out of ignorance. Do not be deterred. Good for you for standing your ground!

Secondly. NO THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO YOU. Their job is to capture your biometric information only.

They cannot change the out come of your background findings. Worst case they can delay to submit them....but you can file inquiries etc if it come to that.

Other than that NOTHING!

You are not walking a thin line applying for your citizenship. You are simply exercising your right.

Goodluck. 🤗
