(and there were 2 others but I'm sorry I don't remember)

 

The guy was super nice, but very serious. He said I'd likely have my oath in July. 

I haven't yet seen an update on my status online. 

What else did they ask other than the civil test?

@SFWolf - they basically went through every question in the N400 application form, starting with your name and DOB. so all the stuff that you wrote there will be reviewed - they are making sure they capture all the changes: employment history, trips, address, etc. they read through every one of those questions on the app that ask you about affiliations, military history, etc.

@thedarkelf - I knew it! I missed the June train. I got July 17. ugggghhhhh another month and a half of waiting around.

Ahh, that is unfortunate! :-( At least, you can start planning on a summer trip/vacation without worrying about passports and such for a bit. 

 

 

Just realized that the end to end process is now 14-15 months. Damn..

My interview is scheduled on July 12th 9am. Hoping I can get the oath ceremony in August. 

 

how soon after the interview did you all get the oath ceremony scheduled in Oakland?

May 05, 2018 - Notice received (USCIS has received your form and is currently processing your application..etc)

 

Applied for Naturalization based on 3-year Residency 

May 29, 2018 (Day 00) -  Submitted N400 Application, filed online

Jun 02, 2018 (Day 04) -  NOA Receipt received in the mail

Jun 02, 2018 (Day 04) - Biometrics appointment scheduled online, letter mailed out

Jun 06, 2018 (Day 08) - Biometrics PDF posted online (appointment for 06/21/18)

Yep, I have. Been away for 3 weeks and will be returning tomorrow in time for oath ceremony on wednesday. I had to do it for work reasons but have travelled well below the maximum time allowed per year.  There is nothing to say you can't travel...Will update if my oath ceremony gets denied.
