Better to fix the 's with their crazy religious and social beliefs but I guess getting a new hymen is easier.

The best frind of an ex girlfriend a while back was "saving herself" until marriage. This meant taking it up the @$$ instead. We had a few discussions about the merits of a hymen surgery ... for which she would have to travel to Lebanon to get. This particular girlfriend, christian, was not that far off. She would constantly have a discussion with herself about how what we were doing was immoral, and that she ought to save herself for marriage. In the meantime, she wasn't too far from her muslim friend in terms of, well, adventurousness.

Incidentally, there were some 16,000 "Purity Balls" last year, where Evangelical Christian American girls swore dire oaths to her father to save herself until marriage. (What an unfortunate name for those events, btw...)

IMHO, the facts are pretty clear that when you use dogma to achieve a goal, the side affects are that

The most "liberal" countries in the world are the ones in which have the OLDEST rate of initial sexual experience. The most "conservative" countries often have the youngest .... when good statistics are available of course! ... which they often aren't in convervative areas.

What you get when you preach instead of uducate is a lot of very desstructive and totally ignorant behaviour.

That is the ther surgery where you can be 30 with tons of kids and have a 15 year old #######. I knew a person (friend of my brother's girlfriend) who had it done after 3 kids and she said she and her husband had a hard time getting it going again, 'cus the doctor made it too tight.

I wonder if she had a big floppy ####### beforehand...

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

My husband says that normally on the wedding day the most important moment is when the bride and groom go to the bedroom. Most of the people wait outside and the groom puts something on his weiner that is made of cotton and then once he's penetrated he goes outside showing the blood and everyone rejoices. This is mostly in Upper Egypt though he says.

Talk about pressure! What if the dear groom has performance anxiety? :P Would a shriek from the bride help or hinder her reputation?

sadly, this can be a life or death situation for some women...if a bride is found not to be a virgin then the marriage is over with before it began.....and the bride's family revenges her for the family's lost of honor...

also, it is not uncommon, for the groom's mother to take the future bride to a doctor to make certain she is a virgin before the marriage is allowed...

all true events, in some Muslim cultures

This happens in far more cultures than Muslim/arab.

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

the long lost pillar: belief in angels

"poisoned by a jew" sounds like a Borat song

If you bring up the truth, you're a PSYCHOPATH, life lesson #442.

It sure does. The story about the bloody bedsheet after wedding night is something I've heard before. And that was from a predominantly Christian country. It's not so much a religous as it is a cultural issue.

And just how do they "test" that the man was a virgin?

Sorry.... but, if I'd be expected to be a virgin..... so would he. And quite honestly, I think waiting until marriage is a mistake. How people relate sexually to each other is one of the biggest parts of a good marriage.

Everyone should make the decision for themselves... not for their mothers, mother-in-laws, church, or whatever.

That's just my 2 cents worth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
