I am the immigrant. My American ex-wife and I got divorced I came here on CR-1 and I have my 10 yrs GC. After the divorce I moved and I changed my address online with USCIS. Now she is moving to a new place, does she have to change her address with USCIS too? If yes, how?

Thanks

American citizens don’t need to keep uscis informed of change of address.

Not true - as long as there’s a process with USCIS ongoing they have to do I-865.

Given that he has a green card and is divorced, up to her if she wants to do it. If she were to petition another person she’d still have to count him in the household until 40 quarters of work or citizenship provision has been satisfied.

Ok my error, I thought being divorced meant she had nothing more to do with the case

Hello!
I just saw this thread and don't want to open a new one.
So just for understanding:

I'm in  pending AOS (after K1) and we have moved in January. I have submitted my address change on time and it's all good with USCIS.
Now I'm wondering if my husband has to send this I-865?
I was asking the guy at the field office when I had my bio date, and he said that only I have to tell them my new address. The husband doesn't!

I'm confused now!

Yes he does. ASC folks don’t know anything but biometrics.

Does she have to count me in her household even if I am working and I have a permanent green card? From a legal standpoint, does she have to change her address with USCIS? What form does she use to do that?
