Expired moroccan passport

I need to travel to Morocco at the end of march and my Moroccan passport is expired. Is there anything that i can do other than trying to renew it? 

Ive called the consulate so many times and they put you on hold for hours with no answers, its so stressful

Yes. You can cancel your plans of travelling to Morocco, if you do not want to go through the renewal route.

[01/10, 2018]  - DAY 323  (day 2149) (N-400) Naturalization Oath Ceremony (5 years, 10 months, 19 days)

[01/10, 2018]  - DAY 001  (day 2149) (US Passport) Applied for US Passport, regular processing

01/25, 2018]  - DAY 015  (day 2164) (US Passport) Passport in hand (5 years, 11 months, 3 days from start of Journey.)

They issue those when you lose your passport, and those too are issued by the Moroccan consulate that you say you can't get through to. If you can get them to issue you with 'travelling papers,' why not get them to renew your passport?
