N-400 Application/Expiring Green card question

@Janeg120 I am in the same boat as you are. As someone already stated earlier, you can get a stamp on the passport from local uscis office via infopass appointment. Recently I visited Philly office and the lady at the infopass window said the same thing as long as you have started N-400 prior to six months of GC expiry date. hth

@austex - don't worry about what it says in the timeline. I am yet to see someone's date being accurate. Till my oath was scheduled and i received a date, my completion date was October 2019. Go figure. I'll be done on feb 14th 2018. Btw, i saw one of my fellow July filer from Dallas getting her citizenship in less than 4 months. Ofcourse, every case is different. Good luck!!!

Don't let that timeline bother you. I'm taking my oath next week and my timeline still says "May 2018", so that timeline is NOT accurate. (Boston, MA)

If you look through people's timeline on VJ, you'll see the timeline is usually way slower. Many people got crazy prediction of more than 18 months but completed the process wayyyyyyy before that.
