What process are you going through?  This is posted under AOS from a K-1/K-3 visa, which doesn't need an I-130. If you are applying for a spousal visa instead, then that's where an I-130 comes into play.

In general, expect about 12-14 months from I-130 filing to embassy interview for the spouse of a USC. This includes the I-130 processing at USCIS, case processing at NVC after approval, and then getting the interview at the embassy.

Normally an I-601 would be filed after the visa is refused (after the embassy interview) due to a waivable inadmissibility. I would guestimate about 5-6 months or so in many cases, but the inadmissibility being requested to being waived is part of it. As such, if an I-601 is needed, then I would not expect a visa to be issued in 2018, sorry.

Middle of 2019 would be my guess.

I was told from lawyer I 130 first, then I 601 after. I’m extremely depressed out here in the country I am at. If I move to another country then it would affect me and my husband’s case. What should I do if I really don’t like where I’m at now? I really want to live with my husband. If I can’t then different country until then but it might mess up our case and don’t know what to do

Perhaps your Husband could move to you?

Sounds like you just need to wait it out.

My attorney said my husband and I can live in different country except we need to move back prior to the interview. He said it wouldn’t affect our case. I’m just worried because I heard from someone else it might destroy hardship of our separation. But my attorney is licensed and has many great reviews with lots of experience. What’s a good way to ask him about that part?

You can certainly argue it either way so personally don't think it is relevant.
