In a totally different lifetime I used to play the online MUD game "Wheel Of Time" (WOT). Got pretty involved in it after reading the WOT series. But now I don't have much time for online and/or pc games.

My boys (hubby and our two sons), on the other hand, are very much into games. Last Christmas we got my stepson a PSP and there was one game that he downloaded a trial version of that my hubby really enjoyed. So for hubby's birthday just a few weeks ago, I bought him a PSP with this cute game called LocoRoco. It's so much fun!!

Battlefied 2142 is superb! Unfortunately, it wastes too much energy from the computer hardware. I'm trying to make my home energy efficient. If I ran the game, I need to run it on my desktop computer that has 800 watts power supply!

800 watts? do u have 4 graphic cards in ur pc? i think that a decent 512mb or more, standard 450watt power source pc can suppport battlefield.. or am i wrong

FIFA, Virtual Tennis but my all time favorite, STARCRAFT< WARCRAFT those are classics.

I play with maximum detail 4xAA - 16xAF at 45 fps@1600x1200 dpi....two SLI graphics card from Nvidia. I won't play it it's even less the max.

I used to play games all the time. Started FPS'ers with Wolf 3D to Doom to Rise of the Triad to Duke 3D to Quake etc, etc, etc. My all time favorite is probably Tribes or Total Annihilation (best RTS *ever*). In the past year I've pretty much quit gaming though. I buy or (ahem) download (ahem) a game and play it for a bit then get bored and never touch it again. Dunno why, maybe I'm just getting old? The sad thing is I've got a kick-####### gaming rig that cost me a pretty penny about a year ago. I'll not confess the total invested but I'll say the video card alone started with a 6.
