Well it probably helps that you have been previously approved.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Past topic by this poster ... while I agree previous approval usually helps, the fact that this poster only got a two month annotated visa indicates some sort of scepticism on the part of the consulate already. (Draw own conclusions from ensuing conversation below)

Paleshah, you'll need to show strong ties to your home country to get a visit visa.

Just curious, why would you go through the strenuous process of getting a visa and not use it? This is probably one of questions that will come from a CO at the visitor visa interview.

Beside the need to show strong ties to your home country, you better have a very strong and convincing reason for the CO on the question above.

...do good and good will be done onto you...

Yeah, OP has yet to respond (also asked in the other previous thread) why the previous visa went unused. Or what country the visa was issued in.
