JUST CHECKED CEAC AND IT SAYS AT NVC!!!!  MY HUSBAND JUST CALLED AND ITS CONFIRMED!! WE HAVE A CASE COMPLETE!!!!!   SCAN DATE NOV. 28!

Hopefully next week ^_^ ✌🏻

 

Not yet, but I'll ask my husband to do so by the end of next week if ever the status doesn't change to "At NVC". How about you ?

Yeah.. I called yesterday and they gave me the “it takes 11 weeks” :( generic response

My case at uscis texas was approved on November 30, 2017. After 8 weeks it was finally shipped to the NVC on January 23, 2018. how many weeks or maybe day it gets there at NVC and I can call to see if it already has a number case for me? has anyone received a letter from NVC to know this number or was it calling NVC? thank you if anyone will answer me

So, we finally got our Welcome letter and AOS Bill invoiced. We paid today and it says in process.

We have our document cover sheet. 

 

Question: Is it safe to send the documents already now, before having the AOS bar coded cover sheet?

I assume one cover sheet is enough or we need to add the AOS cover sheet too?

 

a) Do we need to wait until all is paid before sending the documents? 

b) Does it matter what date the letters inside the package are signed and dated with, e.g. earlier than the payment date?

After NVC received it, i got my case number and Invoice number through email in one week

5/22/17 - Got married

6/6/17 - Mailed I-130 via UPS to Chicago Lockbox 6/7/17 - Received by USCIS; Priority Date (PD)

12/4/17 - I-130 Visa Petition Approved :) 

12/8/17- Email & Text message and website change to Case was sent to the Department of State 12/9/17 - NOA2 I-797 received in mail

12/13/17 - NVC received our case

12/21/17 - Received Welcome letter and AOS invoice from NVC thru email,Case number and invoice number assigned

12/22/17- Submit DS-261, Paid AOS fee

12/26/17 - AOS fee confirmed by bank and status change to paid in website

12/28/17 -  Received email for DS-261 confirmation and IV Invoice

12/29/17 - Paid IV fee

01/03/18 -  IV fee status change to paid in website and DS-260 open, DS-260 submitted, AOS & IV Package mailed

01/05/18 - AOS & IV package received by NVC

01/09/18 - Scan date 

01/13/18 - Case Completed. Called NVC on 1/16/18 to confirm

01/30/18 - Called NVC to find Interview is schedule for 3/15/18

02/1/18 - Received Email from NVC for interview letter PK4 dated 01/31/18

02/6/18 - Left from NVC (called on 02/07 to confirm and status changed on 2/7/18 to "In Transit")

02/8/18 - Reached at Mumbai Embassy (status changed on 2/8/18 from "In Transit" to "Ready")

03/9/18 - Medical at 8:30 at Mumbai Done

I suggest send after the IV is paid. Thats what i did. I included both AOS bar coded cover sheet and IV bar coded cover sheet

The IV bar coded cover sheet is the main "Document Cover Sheet" placed as first page, right?

We received an email saying they didn't receive our ds260 and they need that to start the review. But I called and the lady said to disregard that email. I pray this is great news that they have started on our case
