The data for the fourth quarter of the 2017 fiscal year was just released. You could compare it to other recent quarters and look for any changes in trends.

I heard that the number of denials for Naturalization has gone up recently. Anyone has better info?

Do you have a source for this?

It seems like only this lawyer's denials are going up. Data from the last 8 quarters:

Received Adjucated Approved Denied Pending denied approved
2017Q3    199,680      253,975     229,462    24,513    728,301 10% 90%
2017Q2    250,513      224,507     202,721    21,786    703,333 10% 90%
2017Q1    286,692      183,421     165,907    17,514    740,119 10% 90%
2016Q4    238,062      129,685     111,155    18,530    632,937 14% 86%
2016Q3    244,134      252,688     226,745    25,943    518,707 10% 90%
2016Q2    283,234      207,670     186,864    20,806    520,283 10% 90%
2016Q1    249,730      194,992     175,428    19,564    442,219 10% 90%
2015Q4    185,466      174,180     155,129    19,051    384,850 11% 89%

Note that above data is in calendar year quarters (not FY quarters as published by USCIS). Except for that spike at the end of 2016, approval/denial rates have been pretty stable.
