I just came back from the Santa Ana field office. The whole process took about 20 minutes max and was unexpectedly pleasant to my surprise (there was only 1 couple before me so no wait; the officers were nice and respectful). They took my green card and stamped my passport, which is good for a year.

When a lot of people are waiting 15-20 months for I-751 approval and if USCIS does anything in 20 minutes,  I would be unexpectedly pleasant too!

@Pingping11 Congratulations!!!!!!  What a relief! Hopefully the last of the approvals will come soon!  Maybe they found the box?

Finally got our case approved and got an email that a card is being produced. I was about ready to get infopass.

Congratulations!!! So as soon as I seen your update something told me to check my status and I did. My status changed from "On June 18th 2018 we transferred your case...." to " On August 23rd 2019 we updated your date of birth for your form I-751"... This is the first update I got on my case for over a year. I hope this means approval soon...

Wanted to make my first post here - I applied for my I-751, receipt date 12/22/2017, and after the same things other people have seen (my case was bounced between offices, I had letters sent to a non-existent attorney, I was told I didn't need new biometrics but then I was brought in for a biometrics appointment) I was finally told my card was being produced yesterday morning, 8/30/2019. I'd made my infopass appointment about a week before, and when I was there the USCIS officer told me my case was finally being reviewed - I wonder if making my infopass appointment had anything to do with it.

I also just got an info pass recently August 12th to get i551 stamp since I intend to travel out of the country next week. Am curious did you file for N400? My last update was on Aug 23 and it says DOB was updated and I'm unsure what that means...

I haven't filed for N-400 yet, honestly I missed the opportunity to do it last December and decided I would wait until my got my 10-year green card. I didn't get any updates like that honestly, I went in for my biometrics in early June 2019, but between June 2018 and now there were no updates to my case status except for "your card is now being produced".
