Hi Nebraskans,

I haven't been on this forum for a while because I've been trying not to think of it too much. Ot was really getting to me so I've only discovered this continuation thread.

PD Jan 11

Received RFE in early Nov, expedite mailed it straight away from Australia and they received it Nov 20. Apparently the divorce papers i swnt them from my precious marriage didnt have the judge's signature.

Still haven't heard anything back. Has anyone who has received an RFE heard back or know how long it usually takes to process it?

I would think any day now you should hear from them. It’s 2 months now since they received your package back so let’s pray like before end of this month..

Hang in there

Hello fellow Nebraskians,

We filed our petition last year in August, overseas.

For some reason we haven't received the receipt notice that is supposed to be mailed right after they send the e-notification with a case number by email.

Our case is still being processed, but we weren't sure if that's normal not to get that notice, and wanna be calm that there isn't any issue with our address.

Thank you, and may our cases be approved soon.

I also filed mine in the States before I returned back home overseas in the Philippines. They emailed the NOA1 case number and sent it via snail mail overseas with no problem. So, you should request the case to be mailed if you have not receive it within 30 days. Hopefully yours been solved. Good luck!

It will affect certain inmigration services, specific types of visa (investment) and all the system of E-verify.

But the rest of the system will be operative as long as the shutdown ends soon.

NVC will continue working too

Your notice will only be mailed to a USA address so hopefully you have a USA address and provided that to uscis. I would call as normally you receive your NOA1 in less then 2 weeks, so you need to call and see what address they have on record for u..

I am not sure if they send any notification overseas. Did you get your NOA1 on your overseas address?
