Very odd. Comments from people familiar with the area ? Does Saudi want proxy war with Iran, with Trump's thumbs-up and offers to sell weapons? Will Jared get his 666 failing project funding at last?

Saudi Arabia is already in a proxy war with Iran, they have been for many years now.  I can't answer your other nonsensical questions.

@jayjayj I really don't think that the OP understands what has been happening over the last several years involving the proxy wars going on in Syria and Yemen. This has just been ratched up this past week because the Prime Minister of Lebanon who is dual Lebanese and Saudi citizenship resigned from his post while he was in the KSA. So basically Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Iran are saying that he was forced to do this by the Crown Prince and that he is under house arrest in the KSA. But he went to the UAE yesterday to meet one of the Crown Princes there so that doesn't make any sense at all.

Also people close to the former Prime Minister came out and said that he was threatened by Iran and Hezbollah to toe the line or "he will end up like his father". If you don't know his father was killed by a car bomb in 2005 I believe when Syria still occupied Lebanon.

I prefer to get my news straight from the source and not a Western outlet in this regard.

Saudi Arabia has asked its nationals residing in Lebanon to leave immediatly in a travel warning issued on Thursday, November 9.

The travel warning also called for Saudi nationals not to travel to Lebanon from any point of origin.

Due to the situations in the Republic of Lebanon, an official source at the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Saudi nationals visiting or residing in Lebanon are asked to leave the country as soon as possible, the Saudi news Agency reported.

"The Kingdom advised all citizens not to travel to Lebanon from any other international destinations," the statement .

This follows a similar warning issued by the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 5 urghing its nationals residing in Lebanon to leave immediately and to "exercise caution.”

The Bahraini call came a day after Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri announced his resignation.

The Bahraini foreign ministry said in a statement received by AFP that its call was "in the interest of its citizens’ safety and to avoid any risks they may be exposed due to the conditions and developments” that Lebanon is going through.

you quoted me?

why does a guy who repeatedly failed to file his SF86 form correctly, have national security clearance, and try to exert power? Methinks he wants funding for his failing 666 project, and is going to cost a lot of lives. So be it.
