Hello I am hoping someone can help. I am new to Visa Journey. My husband had interview in Bogota Embassy Aug 24, 2017. We both attended and we were told due to abnormal chest x-ray additional medical exams were needed.  Two months later........last week we received a call from medical doctor office,  the test were negative for TB. (woo hoo)

 

The doctor's office stated the medical records needed to be picked up ASAP (medical exam and vaccines) as of today, my husband has records. Bogota embassy advise my husband to send only his passport via DHL to Bogota. What happens now? Does this mean we are in the final stages??? If yes how long does this take? Why did Medical doctor office advise to hold on to Medical Exam and Vaccines? When we asked we were told they stated " The Embassy will let us know"

 

I would greatly appreciate some advise.

Consulate received and case ready: 09/07/2017

Case "touched": 09/13/2017

Medical:10/02/2017

Interview:10/05/2017  -- APPROVED

Visa issued: 10/06/2017

Visa picked up: 10/13/2017

US Entry: 12/06/2017
