Hello everyone!

I know that I have to file form G-325A for me and my spouse.  My spouse has never been in the United States, she is living in Poland.  That is where I am from and I am trying to bring her here so we can live in the states for a couple of years and then move back to Poland.   My question is: Does she have to sign the G-325A as well?

Thank you everyone!

Also make sure you submit the up-to-date fees for the forms:

Don't forget to add the biometrics fee with the I-485!

Why would there be an I-485 for a CR1/IR1 visa? Please note the forum you're posting in! Thanks :)

Note that extended travel abroad will result in the green card being abandoned. That's fine if you intend to remain in Poland after a couple/few years, but if the intent is to come back to live, you'll be starting the process over again (unless they become a USC first).

No I-485 for a visa. She has never been in the US and is living abroad, so AOS is not an option.

I know that the green card would be abandoned, thank you for that. But we do not intend to stay in the states forever.

Also, i-485 would be later on in the process, correct? Once she would enter the US, then I would file a i-485 for adjusted status.

With a CR-1/IR-1 visa, there is no AOS. You get LPR status upon entry.

Not correct unless you consider "never" to be a synonym of "later".  ^_^
