Hello

I received the RFE letter today and they are asking me for the beneficiary letter of intent to get married. Now my question is can he write the letter,sign,scan it and send it by email to me or does he have to mail it? I really want it to be quick,the waiting game is so stressful.

You need to submit originals with original signatures. I ended up needing to do the same thing and sent it international for $35 or something equally ridiculous.

When I was in India, I wrote the letter of intent using a blue ink and signed it, scanned and e-mailed it to my wife (then fiancee). She took a colour printout and sent it off with the I-129F forms. We were approved without any problem. Good Luck.

06/15/2016- Interview, given option to file I-601 waiver.
08/16/2016- Waiver submitted (no lawyer).
11/21/2016- Waiver approved with expedite.
01/2017- Embassy requested interview. 
04/2017- Fourth visit to Nigeria.  K1 officially denied. 
04/25/2017- NOA1 for 2nd K1.

Do you know what is the current timeline for NOA2 after RFE?

I-129F sent - April 24th 2017     CSC date received - April 27th 2017   NOA1 date - May 1st 2017

RFE - CSC sent October 2nd (case tracker shows 27th September)  RFE - received October 5th  RFE - sent back to CSC  October 6th  RFE- CSC received -October 7th (case tracker shows October 13th) 

NOA2 date - October 18th 2017(case tracker shows October 19th), NOA2 Hard copy -October 24th;  NVC #assigned - November 15th NVC left November 21st

Consulate received - November 28th Packet 3 sent - December 18th; Packet 4 received - December 22nd; Medical exam - January 3rd 2018; Interview -January 17th 2018 APPROVED

Visa issued - January 18th Visa delivered - January 19th POE - January 28th

 

AOS+EAD+AP

Package sent Feb 23rd 2018, Delivered Feb 26th 2018, NOA1 - text and email confirmations March 8th 2018, NOA1 - hard copies received March 12th 2018

Biometrics appointement - March 30th 2018 (requests received March 16th), 2nd Biometrics appointment for EAD for one of my K2s - April 16 2018

SInce I-129F approval is valid only for 4 months the NVC will act fast. They will send Packet 3 to US Embassy/Consulate at your fiancee's country and the Em/Con will send packet 4 to your fiancee's residence and from then on its all about how fast your fiancee can do medicals, pay fees and schedule a interview appointment. People get their interview done within 60 days of NOA2.

Thanks but I meant after sending response to the RFE how long does it take to receive NOA2? What is the current timeline?
