Parents with tourist visa and for immigrant application

Hello I would like to get any insights from anyone. I am planning to let my parents visit US again. Both of them have their multiple entry visas already. Both of them Had entered US already at the same time. Would it (US immigration) still allow them to get in the US again while immigration petition is already submitted?

Maybe.  It depends on whether they can convince the officers at the border that they will return to their country.  I would think their evidence would have to be very, very strong since they have an intent to immigrate......but there is a strong possibility that they will be denied entry.....

do you mean, denied upon entry in the airport? they already have the multiple entry visa hence they won't be going to the US Embassy.

They can be denied at their US Port of Entry when they arrive.......If that happens, they would be placed a flight right back to their country.

'Very very strong' is misleading.  I know 10s of people personally who barely got asked even in the same situation. Same for myself and my kids.  On one of my trips I am sure they didn't even know i had a petition filed, i wanted to tell him even - but he said have a great stay even before i could say anything.  All he asked was why i was here and I said to meet my husband.

 

 

If its been at least a bit since you filed say 3 months or so its even safer (from what i have seen around) of course final decision is of CBP officer.  They know that most decent families dont want to mess their papers by staying on.
