Hi all,

I wish I had better news, but my fiancée and I are still waiting for the NOA2. But,

We are in the time frame to receive something, hopefully soon.

On average, how long does it take to receive Visa in Hand 🤚 after the NOA2 has been issued?

Best of luck,

Thank you

Hard to say in a country like Morocco. It will take about 1 month after NOA2 for your petition to arrive at the NVC and be assigned a case number. Once Casablanca receives the petition, you can expect to wait another 1-2 months for an interview date. After the interview, we got our visa within 1 week, but that's not always a common experience in Morocco. Many wait under administrative processing for weeks or months before getting the visa in hand, so unfortunately it's just not possible to make anything but a somewhat educated guess on when the visa will be issued. Good luck and I hope your NOA2 arrives soon.

So, we hope to receive the NOA2 this month. We ll give it a month to arrive in Morocco, another 2 months for the interview and 2 more months for her to receive the Visa in hand. We will prepare ourselves that she gets here by Spring break, April. If she comes before then, it ll be great. I also plan to go visit in December. Thanks,

visa is not issued until the interview is passed

some things to know in Casa :

go into interview fully confident

be completely serious as this is serious business to them

morocco financee must know all things about USC

and not be afaid to express love and feelings ( i know this is not the norm in Morocco but it is needed _in interview)

answer questions with short replys / do not go into a long story '

good luck as casa is hard

No one can really answer that.  For us, it took longer between the NOA 2 and interview than it took to get the NOA2.
