My husband's petition was returned Dec. 2016 for review after his interview.. I've been montioring the usics website for that review but today I look at ceac and it said this.. Can this be logical?  Can embassy do this?

It sounds as if you didn't answer to their letter. When we sent our petition, I took a long time to start the visa process. I mistakenly thought after the petition was approved I could have waited as long as I wanted to and they sent us a similar letter that stated if we wouldn't  pursue the visa petition within a year it would be canceled. You need to write to them explaining the situation that you have not received anything from them. At that time I sent them an email and also a written explanation with my signature and the date. Try to call them and ask but in any case write an official letter with the explanations and send it as a registered letter to make sure they receive it.

It may have been a email. There was no letter. An they had said they sent me an email on another  matter which I didn't get because I was monitoring my mail closely.so if they sent a letter I didn't get an if it was a email  u may of misunderstood it

So send them a mail and email explaining everything how it was. If you think you can't compose it that well, ask someone for help.

I have found all my documents staying in touch often not over one year to embassy. I will get a letter with documentation in mail tomorrow to them. Sometimes the embassy is wrong!

Hello

If your case is under administrative processing more than a year it will be expired on ceac website, don't worry and call nvc, they might reopen DS-260 and you can submit it again. Your spouse is under AP or you are waiting for reaffirmation?
