if you have  case number go here and check your visa status

when you get interview date is depend not on NVC but your embassy

My PD is October Oct. 17 - does this mean we won't get an interview date at least until the month of OCT?

My visa category is EB-3 it is depend  which category is  .

Yes this mean that your PD must also current .

No problem but like i told you my visa category is EB-3 ( AS I KNOW IT DOES MATTER WHAT KIND OF VISA IS) ,i mean:

CC 7/27/2017 - AT NVC

LETTER FOR INTERVIEW - 9/1/2017 - AT NVC ,

on  09/06/2017 - IN TRANSIT ( which means that the case is send to the embassy)  

on  09/07/2017 - READY ( the case is received by the embassy and waiting the date)

 

if i am wrong someone correct me

Status still At Nvc on 9/01/2017 and u get on interview letter on this same date  ?
